Renegade Gemini Anal Plug Vibrator w/Remote - Gray

The Renegade Gemini is a rechargeable vibrating anal plug and prostate massager that comes with its own wireless remote. What sets it apart is that, besides vibrating, Renegade credits it with very targeted thrusting aimed at the prostate. It measures 14.8 cm in total length, with 12.2 cm of insertable length and an insertable diameter of 4 cm, and it combines soft silicone with ABS plastic. It offers 3 speeds and 4 functions, and the remote runs on an AAA battery that isn't in the box.

Who it suits and who it doesn't

It suits anyone who's already comfortable with plugs and wants one that works the prostate with vibration and thrusting, rather than simply filling. With the wireless remote, your partner can take charge of the speeds and functions while you wear it. As it's rechargeable, you never have to swap batteries in the plug itself.

If this is your first anal toy, it's not the usual pick: with an insertable diameter of 4 cm, it's generally better to start with a slimmer one. Bear in mind that the remote needs an AAA battery that isn't included, so buy one separately if you want to use it as soon as it arrives.

How to use it and look after it

1. Before the first use, charge the plug and put an AAA battery in the remote, which you'll need to buy separately.
2. With the remote, mix its 3 speeds with the 4 functions until you find the one you like.

Compatibility

• Lubricant: Stated to be compatible with all types of lubricant.
• Charging: The plug is rechargeable; the remote, on the other hand, runs on an AAA battery that isn't included.
• Remote: Comes with a wireless remote; it doesn't work with an app.

General tips

Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.

• The anus doesn't lubricate itself: use plenty of lube and add more as soon as you feel any friction.
• Start slowly with your body relaxed, breathing deeply as you insert it. If you feel pain, stop: anal play should never be forced.
• Given its diameter, it isn't the best choice as a first anal toy: the usual approach is to start with a narrower one and work up in size gradually.
• Don't move it from the anus to the vagina without washing it first, or change the condom covering it.
• To remove it, pull gently on the base and take your time; a little more lube helps.
• The first few times, wear it only briefly and gradually increase the time as you feel comfortable.
• Start at the lowest intensity and work up gradually: that way you'll find the rhythm you like sooner.

How it differs

• Anbiguo Amadeus: The Anbiguo Amadeus has 7 vibration modes, rotating beads, a watch-shaped remote and IPX7 certification, and is listed at 15.5 x 3.1 cm; the Renegade Gemini has just 3 speeds and 4 functions and a 4 cm diameter, but focuses on thrusting towards the prostate. The Amadeus is better if you want more modes and rotation; the Gemini, if you're after direct pressure on the prostate.
• Rocks Off Dominus Metalic: The Rocks Off Dominus Metalic runs on 1 AAA battery, whereas the Renegade Gemini is rechargeable and only uses a battery in the remote. The Gemini wins if you don't want to keep changing batteries in the plug; the Dominus, if you'd rather pop in a fresh battery than wait for a charge.
