Popis
The Nexus Thrusting Automatic Douche is an automatic anal douche with a 350 ml reservoir and a silicone-coated nozzle. You operate it with a rechargeable remote control that Nexus describes as water-resistant. The body combines ABS plastic and silicone.
Who it suits and who it doesn't
It suits you if you'd rather have an automatic anal douche that you control with a remote, instead of a manual one. If you don't want to keep an eye on batteries, the remote recharges. With a 350 ml reservoir, you know exactly how much water you'll be filling it with each time you use it.
Compatibility
- Water: Nexus describes the remote as water-resistant, but it doesn't state an IPX rating for either the remote or the douche.
- Charging: The remote runs on a rechargeable battery.
General tips
Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.
- The anus doesn't lubricate itself: use plenty of lube and add more as soon as you feel any friction.
- Fill it only with lukewarm water, never hot, and without soap or other products, and put a little lube on the nozzle before inserting it slowly.
- Charge it fully before first use and, if you go a while without using it, give it a charge now and then: the battery holds up better if it isn't left flat for long.
- Wipe it with a cloth dampened with lukewarm water and mild soap, or with a toy cleaner, and dry it well, especially around the buttons and the charging port.
- Keep it clean and dry, away from heat and sunlight, in a fabric pouch or its box and apart from other toys: some materials react when they touch and become stained or misshapen.
- As it's made of silicone, it's usually used with water-based lube: silicone-based lubes can spoil its surface.
How it differs
- Anal Adventures Platinum Aqua Jet: The Nexus states a 350 ml reservoir and a silicone-coated nozzle. The Anal Adventures Platinum Aqua Jet, on the other hand, declares IPX7, 3 spray pressures and 10 vibration modes. If you'd like to know in advance how much water it holds and want a silicone nozzle, go for the Nexus. If you'd prefer a device with a declared IPX rating and adjustable pressure, the Aqua Jet is the better fit for you.
Our verdict
Its clear strengths are the 350 ml reservoir, the silicone nozzle and the rechargeable remote. On the other hand, the brand only describes the remote as water-resistant and doesn't give an IPX rating.
