Nexus Revo Twist Rotating & Vibrating Massager - Black

The Nexus Revo Twist is a double-ended anal massager: one end is a vibrating plug, the other a rotating shaft. The plug has 6 vibration speeds and the shaft has 2 rotation settings. Mix them and you get 34 combinations, and Nexus says it can be used in 4 ways. You control it with a remote with a range of up to 8 metres, the shaft is 100% silicone, and both the toy and the remote are rechargeable.

Who it suits and who it doesn't

It suits anyone who wants to try a plug's vibration and a shaft's rotation in a single toy, without buying two devices. If you like changing the pace as you go, you have plenty of room to play: 34 combinations of vibration and rotation. The remote, which works up to 8 metres away, comes in handy when you don't want to fumble for buttons on the toy itself while you're using it.

How to use it and look after it

1. Before you begin, decide which end you'll use: the plug if you're after vibration, or the shaft if you want rotation.
2. Change the speed of each end from the remote, which works up to 8 metres away, and combine vibration and rotation to work through all 34 options.

Both the toy and the remote have a rechargeable battery, so remember to charge both.

• It resists splashes, but do not submerge it.

Compatibility

• Lubricant: As the shaft is silicone, the general rule is to use a water-based lubricant: a silicone one can damage the surface.
• Water: The toy can withstand splashes. Nexus describes the remote as water-resistant.
• Charging: The toy runs on a rechargeable battery, and the remote is rechargeable too.
• Remote: There's no app: you control it with a remote that reaches up to 8 metres.

General tips

Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.

• The anus doesn't lubricate itself: use plenty of lube and add more as soon as you feel any friction.
• Start slowly with your body relaxed, breathing deeply as you insert it. If you feel pain, stop: anal play should never be forced.
• Don't move it from the anus to the vagina without washing it first, or change the condom covering it.
• To remove it, pull gently on the base and take your time; a little more lube helps.
• The first few times, wear it only briefly and gradually increase the time as you feel comfortable.
• Start at the lowest intensity and work up gradually: that way you'll find the rhythm you like sooner.
• Charge it fully before first use and, if you go a while without using it, give it a charge now and then: the battery holds up better if it isn't left flat for long.

How it differs

• Pipedream Anal Fantasy Elite Ultimate P-Spot Milker: The Nexus Revo Twist combines a plug with 6 vibration settings and a shaft with 2 rotation settings in 34 combinations, whereas the Pipedream Anal Fantasy Elite Ultimate P-Spot Milker has 9 vibration functions and a curved tip that massages the prostate and presses on the perineum. The Revo Twist suits you better if you want to alternate between vibration and rotation; the Pipedream is for you if you're mainly after an automatic prostate massage.
