Who the Lux Fetish Expandable Bar Spreader Set is for, and who it isn't
It suits you if
- You want a spreader bar whose length you can change to suit the position.
- You want something that stores in a small space or fits in a suitcase.
- You want cuffs you can also use on their own, without the bar.
Better look elsewhere if
- You prefer real leather cuffs. These are faux leather.
- You want a one-piece bar, with no joins or pins. This one is assembled from three pieces and the length is fixed with pins.
How to use the Lux Fetish Expandable Bar Spreader Set
- Assemble the bar by joining its three pieces.
- Adjust the length by pulling the pin rings, and check that the pins are properly seated before you start.
- Attach the cuffs to the bar with their quick-release clips and D-rings.
- Fit them without over-tightening and check that the other person is comfortable.
- To store it, take the bar apart into its three pieces and remove the cuffs.
Cleaning
Wipe the bar and the cuffs with a damp cloth and dry them well before storing. Store the disassembled bar and the cuffs separately.
Our advice
- Agree a safe word or a signal to stop with your partner beforehand, and always respect it.
- Keep a pair of round-tipped scissors within reach so you can release the cuffs at any moment.
- Check feet and hands often: if they get cold, tingle or change colour, release them straight away.
- Never leave a tied-up person alone.
- Do not use it if a pin does not fit properly or any part is damaged.
