Elbow Grease Fusion Deep Action Silicone - 8.4 oz Bottle

Fusion Elbow Grease Deep Action Silicone is a silicone-based intimate lubricant that comes in an 8.4 oz bottle. It's made with pharmaceutical-grade silicone, and Fusion has formulated it to go the distance without needing to be topped up. You can use it underwater, and it cuts down on friction, leaving skin soft to the touch.

Who it suits and who it doesn't

A good fit for couples who enjoy sex in the water, as Fusion states it's suitable for use submerged. If you're tired of stopping to add more lubricant halfway through, a silicone formula made to last is just what you need. If you like to know exactly what you're putting on your skin, the full ingredients list is right here.

If you usually use lubricant with silicone toys, look elsewhere: as this is silicone-based, it's generally best not to combine it with them, as they can be damaged.

Compatibility

• Water: Fusion considers it ideal for use underwater, so it won't wash away in the shower or the bath.
• Skin: According to Fusion, it removes friction and leaves skin soft and silky.
• Ingredients: Its formula contains cyclopentasiloxane, dimethylpolysiloxane and hydroxyl-terminated.

General tips

Common good practice for this type of product; these are not the manufacturer's instructions.

• Start with a small amount and add more when you need it; with a condom, apply it to the outside once the condom is on.
• As it's silicone-based, avoid using it with silicone toys, which can be spoilt; with toys made of other materials, test it on a small area first.
• Wipe up anything that drips on the floor straight away: it's very slippery, especially in the shower.
• If you have sensitive skin, test a small amount on the inside of your arm first and wait a while before using it on intimate areas.
• A lubricant is not a contraceptive and doesn't protect against sexually transmitted infections.

How it differs

• Shunga Toko Silicone Lubricant: Both are silicone-based and suitable for use in water, but Shunga Toko Silicone Lubricant says it also works as a massage lotion, while Fusion says nothing of the sort. In return, Fusion publishes its full ingredients list. Toko suits you if you'd like to use it for massage too. Fusion is the better choice if you want to check the formula before you buy.
